Welcome to Part three, where I continue my discussion of Man of Steel and begin talking about  Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

When it comes to the movies?  DC has been struggling to  keep up with Marvel.  Part of this is really that DC did not lay out a plan from the start. While Marvel Released films with an aim toward the Avengers, DC was trying to figure out where to start.  The Nolan Batman films were a critical success, but also very much their own universe.  When they made Green Lantern, most attempts… Read More

Oh… Daredevil… On the heels the success of the X-Men, Marvel pushed forward to get other properties going.  Spider-Man was in the works and so was the Hulk.  This was before Marvel Studios existed and the company was working with other studios.  There was no cinematic universe, because different studios had the rights.  Then the Marvel brass worked out a Daredevil deal.  Daredevil was getting a resurgence due to the Marvel Knights… Read More

Much talk has been given about Spider-Man’s second reboot and his entering the the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  The hype is getting so ridiculous that an article appeared in my Facebook feed *confirming* Spider-Man would appear in Civil War.  People are so desperate for angles that they are confirming… Read More

So San Diego Comic Con saw the release of a new trailer for next year’s Batman vs Superman and… Well, I am a little more hopeful…but not yet excited. The trailer is unclear if Batman has been active for years or if he retired, though there seems to be indications he is returning to his cowl. While I am a bit bummed that we will not have an established friendship, they are… Read More
